HELSINKI, 20/1/2014 - At the International Tourism Fair, Matka – 2014, held in Helsinki, on the 15th -19th January, Albania was introduced by our specialists in touristic areas and traveling agencies, mainly through the European Programme for the Promotion of trans-boundary areas, Vlora - Corfu - Ioannina, funded by the European Union.
Albania and its tourism opportunities were professionally presented at the Fair, from the Vlora’s County Council representative Ada Murati, by the Albanian Tourism Association (ATA) Executive Director Matilda Naco and project leader Erida Rushi, from the experienced specialist Raimonda Bedo, the director of "Albania Tours" Xhimi Lama, by the businessman Xhorxhi Gremi from Vlora and Bona Marku the Director of Sales at Hotel "Rogner".
Commitment and high level of professionalism from the Albanian specialists group, made a very good impression not only to the numerous visitors, but also to the specialists of other countries and to the leaders of the Helsinki Fair.
This year the International Tourism Fair, Matka-2014, was attended by the representatives of 81 countries from all over the world. They presented their countries potential of tourism, in 1000 pavilions. The fair was visited by more than 67,000 visitors.
